The rose Limbo is a Hybrid Tea rose known for its unusual chartreuse or light green blooms, often used by florists. Introduced in 1999, it is popular as a cut flower due to its long vase life and unique color, but its care in the garden requires attention. 

Characteristics

• Color: Chartreuse or light green, sometimes described as green-cream.
• Bloom: Large, double flowers with a high-centered, frilled form that open into a cup shape.
• Fragrance: Nil.
• Foliage: Large, dark, and glossy leaves.
• Stem: Nearly thornless. 

Garden care

• Hardiness: Not very winter-hardy
• Disease: Prone to black spot in humid conditions, so proactive disease management like regular spraying is necessary.
• Pruning: In warmer climates, cut back canes by about one-third. In colder areas, more extensive pruning will likely be needed. 

Use as a cut flower

• Vase life: Over a week.
• Stem length: Typically about 50-60 cm.
• Care: Proper hydration with water treated with a floral preservative is essential for optimal performance.
